Husker Fans React Strongly to Scott Frost Press Conference They Didn’t Watch

LINCOLN, NE — Nebraska head coach, Scott Frost, held his bye-week press conference Wednesday morning and Huskers fans are in an uproar over what he had to say.

“He thought the defense played great! What an idiot!” said @billybobray. When we pointed out that Frost actually said the defense played good enough in the first half for the offense to have had 28 points at halftime, but obviously let-down in the second half, he responded, “NO! Tammy McFluffin posted a 10-word snippet on Twitter and THAT’S NOT WHAT IT SAID!”

When asked if he actually watched the press conference, @billybobray responded, “And, get context for the question that was asked and the full answer, so I know what he actually meant? Pfft. That’s dumb.”

When we pointed out that the local media generally posts very small snippets of what’s said in a press conference that are often misleading and seem designed to rile up certain segments of the fan base, @billyboyray blocked us. Which is his prerogative. We here at the Tribune remain encouraged to engage in vigorous and well-informed debate with users like @billybobray.
